A basement is staple in most homes. A basement may be a simple storage area where you put the things you don’t need as of the moment. If your basement has been waterlogged for some time, it’s better to get the water out and stabilize your home’s foundation before installing waterproofing.
If there is no dampness or water in your floorboards, you don’t have to worry about mold infestation. A damp and dark basement is a beacon to mold fungi. Molds give off spores that cause allergies. Mold can also spread pretty quickly.
